The first Islamic Values Forum exhibition kicks off in Riyadh under the patronage of Faisal bin Bandar
The exhibition accompanying the first Islamic Values Forum, organized by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, opened today, Monday, at the InterContinental Hotel in Riyadh. This prominent event is held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Region, and under the direct supervision and guidance of His Excellency the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, Sheikh Dr. Abdul Latif bin Abdulaziz Al Sheikh.
This exhibition is a fundamental pillar and a key component of the forum's activities, representing a comprehensive national platform that aims to transform theoretical concepts of Islamic and national values into tangible practical practices that touch the reality of society and contribute to promoting positive behavior among individuals and institutions.
Strengthening national identity and the goals of Vision 2030
This event is of particular importance given the comprehensive development drive underway in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The forum and its accompanying exhibition align with the objectives of Vision 2030, specifically the "Vibrant Society" pillar, which focuses on strengthening Islamic values and national identity. Through this event, the Ministry aims to highlight exemplary national figures who contribute to building a comprehensive value system that promotes moderation and rejects extremism, thus reflecting the true, enlightened image of Islam.
Integration of government agencies and the non-profit sector
The exhibition is distinguished by its broad and high-quality participation, reflecting the spirit of integration among the various sectors of the state. In addition to the pavilion of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs and its affiliated bodies such as the King Fahd Complex for Printing the Holy Quran, prominent government entities are participating, such as the Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority (Nazaha), the King Abdulaziz Center for Cultural Communication, the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid, and the Educational Center for Development and Professional Training at King Saud University.
The exhibition also features a significant presence from the non-profit sector, with the participation of leading institutions such as the Sulaiman Al Rajhi Charitable Foundation and the Talal Charitable Foundation. This diverse participation aims to unify values-based messages, exchange institutional experiences, and highlight national efforts in promoting values, thus ensuring the sustainability of the societal impact of these initiatives.
A regulatory framework to ensure quality and sustainability
In a related context, and to ensure the forum's success and reflect the Kingdom's stature, His Excellency Minister Dr. Abdul Latif Al-Sheikh approved the forum's organizational guide in its first edition. This guide aims to establish an institutional framework to govern operations, enhance planning and execution efficiency, and guarantee the achievement of the forum's strategic objectives, thereby solidifying its position as an effective national platform for human development and strengthening the values of Saudi society.
