In keeping with its leading humanitarian role, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center continues to extend a helping hand during the holy month of Ramadan, distributing various food aid in five countries: Sudan, Afghanistan, Kosovo, Chad, and Uzbekistan, targeting the most needy families, displaced persons, and those affected by crises.

This aid is part of a series of humanitarian projects implemented by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through its humanitarian arm, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, which was established in 2015 under the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. The Center aims to be a leading international center for providing relief, operating according to established humanitarian principles and targeting those in need worldwide without discrimination based on religion, race, or color. The Center has implemented thousands of projects in dozens of countries around the world, covering sectors such as food security, health, shelter, education, and water and sanitation.

Regionally and internationally, these efforts reflect the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's unwavering commitment to supporting humanitarian stability in areas affected by conflict, natural disasters, and economic crises. In countries like Sudan and Afghanistan, which face immense humanitarian challenges, this aid plays a vital role in preventing the exacerbation of malnutrition crises and bolstering the resilience of local communities.
