King Salman Relief Clinics treat 71 displaced people in Hajjah, Yemen

The mobile medical clinic of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center continued providing its comprehensive medical and healthcare services at the Al-Walan camp for internally displaced persons in Haradh District, Hajjah Governorate, Yemen. This initiative is part of the ongoing humanitarian efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people and ensure access to essential medical services for the most vulnerable groups in affected areas.

According to official statistics for the period from December 10 to 16, 2025, 71 beneficiaries visited the clinics and received various medical services. As part of maintaining a healthy environment in the camp, two medical waste disposal activities were carried out.
The humanitarian context and the importance of intervention in Hajjah
These medical services are of paramount strategic importance given the dire humanitarian situation in Hajjah Governorate, one of the Yemeni governorates most affected by the conflict and hosting a large number of internally displaced persons. The health sector in Yemen in general, and particularly in border and remote areas, faces immense challenges as a result of years of conflict, leading to the closure of many health facilities. Mobile clinics serve as a vital lifeline for thousands of families who lack access to central hospitals, helping to bridge the significant gap in healthcare services.
The leading role of the King Salman Relief Center
Since its establishment in 2015, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center has prioritized the Yemeni crisis, implementing hundreds of health projects that have included supporting hospitals, providing medicines, operating mobile clinics, and combating epidemics. These ongoing efforts at the Al-Walan camp reflect the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's unwavering commitment to supporting its brothers and sisters in Yemen across various sectors, and its tireless pursuit of improving public health indicators and reducing the spread of diseases and epidemics that threaten the lives of displaced persons, thereby strengthening regional health security and alleviating the severity of the humanitarian crisis.
