The mobile medical clinics of the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid continued their noble humanitarian missions in Abs District, Hajjah Governorate, Yemen, where they provided their various treatment services to 1,098 beneficiaries during the month of November 2025, within the framework of the continuous efforts made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to alleviate the suffering of the brotherly Yemeni people and support the health sector, which faces great challenges.

In the interest of the environment and public safety, nine activities were carried out to dispose of medical waste safely.
The context of humanitarian work in Hajjah Governorate
These services are of exceptional importance given the geographical location and demographic conditions of Abs District in Hajjah Governorate. These areas are among the most in need of urgent and continuous medical intervention due to their high population density and the presence of large numbers of internally displaced persons who lack access to basic healthcare. Mobile clinics serve as a strategic solution for reaching patients in remote areas where access to central hospitals is difficult, embodying the principle of "reaching those in need wherever they are.".
The leading role of the King Salman Relief Center
Since its establishment, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center has made supporting the health sector in Yemen a top priority. These efforts extend beyond simply providing medicine; they include operating hospitals, supplying medical personnel, and providing equipment and supplies. The continued operation of these clinics until 2025 is a clear testament to the sustainability of Saudi relief efforts and demonstrates that they are not tied to temporary solutions, but rather represent a long-term commitment to the people of Yemen.
Expected impact locally and regionally
The continued flow of these medical services directly contributes to reducing mortality and infectious disease rates within Yemen and strengthens local health security. Regionally, these efforts highlight the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's leading role in international humanitarian work, as these initiatives contribute to enhancing regional stability by combating potentially transboundary epidemics and providing a dignified life for those affected by crises, in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals related to good health and well-being.
