King Salman Relief Center distributes food baskets in Uzbekistan

As part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s ongoing humanitarian efforts around the world, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center its relief programs in the Republic of Uzbekistan, distributing 410 food baskets in the Islam Karimov neighborhood of Navoi. This immediate assistance benefited 2,500 individuals from 410 families, as part of the “Food Basket” project allocated to the Republic of Uzbekistan for the year 2026.

This distribution is part of a comprehensive strategic plan implemented by the center, with the overall project aiming to distribute 6,060 complete food baskets. These baskets contain essential food items to meet a family's needs, and the project is expected to benefit approximately 36,000 individuals across 14 provinces throughout the Republic of Uzbekistan. This wide geographical reach reflects the center's commitment to reaching the most vulnerable groups in various regions, ensuring food security for beneficiaries.
