King Salman Center continues distributing food aid in Gaza
As part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s ongoing humanitarian efforts, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center yesterday to distribute urgent food aid in camps for displaced people in the central Gaza Strip. This initiative comes in response to the harsh living conditions faced by the residents of the Strip, and aims to provide basic necessities for families who have been forced to leave their homes and have lost their livelihoods due to the ongoing events.

This aid falls under the Saudi popular campaign to aid the Palestinian people , launched by the Saudi leadership at the beginning of the crisis. The Kingdom successfully established an air and sea bridge to ensure the flow of relief supplies, with official statistics indicating the arrival of:
- 78 relief planes loaded with various supplies.
- 8 giant ships transported huge quantities of supplies.
- Total cargo exceeded 7,706 tons of food, medical and shelter supplies.
- 912 trucks carrying essential supplies crossed

Saudi support was not limited to food; it extended to the dilapidated health sector in Gaza, with the delivery of 20 fully equipped ambulances to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society. To ensure the effective delivery and distribution of aid, the center signed strategic agreements with UN and international organizations to implement relief projects within the Gaza Strip, totaling $90.35 million .
Regional cooperation and airdrop
Due to logistical difficulties and the closure of some border crossings, the Kingdom resorted to innovative solutions to ensure food reached those under siege, conducting airdrops of specialized aid in partnership with the Jordanian Armed Forces.
