The King and Crown Prince launch the "Generosity from Us and Among Us" campaign with 150 million riyals

In a generous humanitarian gesture embodying the highest ideals of social solidarity during the holy month of Ramadan, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud – may God protect them – launched the national charitable campaign, “Generosity is from us and within us.” The wise leadership inaugurated this campaign with two generous donations totaling 150 million Saudi Riyals, made through the “Jood Housing” platform, the leading national platform for housing-related charitable giving.

Ongoing leadership support for the non-profit sector

This generous donation reflects the leadership's ongoing commitment to supporting all national efforts and initiatives aimed at providing a dignified life for citizens, particularly by providing suitable housing for the most vulnerable families. This support also underscores the Kingdom's strong commitment to strengthening the non-profit sector and enabling it to fulfill its developmental roles in line with the goals of Vision 2030, which seeks to increase the non-profit sector's contribution to the GDP and promote a culture of giving within society.

Thanks and appreciation from the Minister of Municipalities and Housing

On this auspicious occasion, His Excellency the Minister of Municipalities and Housing, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the National Housing Development Foundation “Sakan”, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, expressed his deepest gratitude and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince. His Excellency affirmed that this unsurprising support serves as a significant incentive for all members of society and its institutions to contribute to this blessed campaign.

Al-Haqil pointed out that the generous donations received by the “Jood Housing” platform have an effective and direct impact on achieving family stability for beneficiaries, explaining that the platform is a unique national model in governance and transparency, as it ensures that support reaches those who deserve it with ease and convenience, which enhances the credibility of charitable work in the Kingdom.

Jood Housing Platform: A Bridge for Giving and Transparency

The “Jood Housing” platform is an initiative of the “Sakan” National Housing Development Foundation, which aims to engage individuals and organizations in providing housing assistance to families in need. The platform utilizes modern technologies to streamline the donation process, allowing contributors to view eligible cases and contribute directly to providing housing for them.

The “Generosity is from us and within us” campaign gains special significance as it coincides with the holy month of Ramadan, a month of goodness and mercy, when everyone strives to give and contribute. This royal launch is expected to encourage the private sector, business leaders, and all segments of society to actively participate, thus accelerating the pace of homeownership for beneficiary families and strengthening the national unity and social cohesion that characterize Saudi society.
