King Abdulaziz University organizes the American Dental Licensing Examinations (ADEX)

In a significant step reflecting the rapid development of the medical education sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Faculty of Dentistry at King Abdulaziz University the American Dental Association (ADEX) licensing exams, thus activating its official accreditation as an internationally licensed center for conducting these exams outside the United States. This achievement comes as a culmination of the faculty's prior attainment of the prestigious academic accreditation from CODA, placing the university among the world's leading educational institutions.
Details of tests and medical fields
These examinations, held under the generous auspices of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties, saw the participation of 25 male and female physicians from the internship and university graduate phases, who underwent a rigorous evaluation process according to the highest international standards. The examinations were spread over four consecutive days to ensure a comprehensive assessment, covering the following aspects:
- Dental replacement.
- Root canal and nerve treatment.
- Treatment of gums and supporting tissues.
- Dental hygiene and advanced technical simulation tests.

Dr. Mark Armstrong, President of ADEX, explained that the accreditation of the Faculty of Dentistry at King Abdulaziz University as a testing center represents an independent and impartial assessment tool for clinical skills.
