The first Family Community Forum 2026 in Jeddah: Date and details

The city of Jeddah is preparing to host a prominent social and developmental event: the "First Family Community Forum 2026," organized by the Reconciliation and Family Development Association on Friday evening, February 20, 2026. This important event will be held at the "Laylati" Hall under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Governor of the Makkah Region, reflecting the wise leadership's commitment to supporting families and strengthening their cohesion.

The importance of the forum in light of the Kingdom's Vision 2030

This forum is being held at a time when the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is witnessing a comprehensive development drive within the framework of Vision 2030, specifically the Quality of Life Program, which gives special attention to the family as the fundamental building block of society. The event gains its significance from being a platform that brings together the government, private, and non-profit sectors to unify efforts aimed at protecting the social fabric and addressing the contemporary educational and social challenges facing Saudi families, thus reinforcing the Kingdom's position as a leading model in sustainable social development.

Strategic partnerships and expanded presence

The forum primarily aims to enhance institutional integration to support family stability and build sustainable, collaborative working models. The event boasts unprecedented participation, including over 30 non-profit organizations, 15 governmental and private entities, and a select group of endowments and specialized family counseling centers from across the Kingdom. Attendance is expected to exceed 1,000 participants, including specialists and those interested in family affairs, providing a fertile ground for exchanging experiences and ideas.

Dialogue sessions discussing reality and the future

The forum's scientific program includes two main panel discussions featuring more than 20 speakers and experts. The first session, titled "The Reality of Saudi Families: Past and Present," is moderated by Dr. Khalid Al-Otaibi, with the participation of Dr. Khalid Al-Hulaibi, Dr. Bandar Saleh Al-Maliki, and consultant Azza Al-Ghamdi. This session aims to analyze social transformations and their impact on family values. The second session, titled "Conscious Parenting: Let's Make Our Homes a Paradise and Nurture Them Together," is moderated by Dr. Alaa Nassif, with the participation of Laila Tayyiba, Sariya Fustuq, and Iman Rafah, to discuss modern, balanced parenting methods.

Quality initiatives and financial sustainability

The forum will not be limited to theoretical discussions; it will also witness the launch of a series of impactful initiatives, most notably the inauguration of the "Digital Platform for the Family Community" to keep pace with digital transformation, and the launch of the "Knowledgeable Family Award" to stimulate community awareness. In a move to enhance the financial sustainability of family programs, an endowment fund and the "100 Family Endowments" initiative will be announced. The forum will also see the signing of several development agreements and partnerships, and the launch of the "Messages Between Two Generations" competition, with the aim of producing practical recommendations that contribute to developing family awareness programs and building sustainable models that serve Saudi families both intellectually and developmentally.
