In a related development, the meteorological department warned of a more severe weather system affecting the Hail region, bringing rain accompanied by strong surface winds that could stir up dust and reduce horizontal visibility. The center cautioned about the possibility of flash floods in valleys and ravines, as well as hail and thunderstorms in the region's governorates, open areas, and highways, noting that this weather pattern would continue until 10:00 PM.

In anticipation of the weather conditions in the coming days, the National Center for Meteorology issued an early warning about an approaching rain wave starting next Sunday, December 7th. According to the outputs of the advanced "Saudi Numerical Model" for analyzing climate data, moderate to heavy rainfall is expected across a wide geographical area of the Kingdom.
The center identified the regions that will be affected by this ongoing rainfall, expected to last for several days, as: Tabuk, Al-Jawf, the Northern Borders, Madinah, Makkah, Hail, and Al-Qassim, extending to the northern parts of the Eastern Province.
