Jazan Winter: 640 tourist facilities to welcome visitors in the 2025 season
The Jazan region, the southern pearl of Saudi Arabia, is preparing to welcome its premier tourist season, "Jazan Winter," with a fresh look and unprecedented preparations. The region has been transformed into a massive construction site to upgrade public facilities and parks. These preparations reaffirm Jazan's position as one of the Kingdom's most important winter tourist destinations, thanks to its mild climate and captivating natural beauty.
Logistical preparations and integrated facilities
As part of its intensive efforts to welcome visitors, the Jazan Municipality announced the readiness of 640 diverse municipal facilities, collectively forming a robust tourism infrastructure. These facilities include 296 parks and public gardens, in addition to the waterfronts, which serve as a primary recreational area for residents and visitors alike. The municipality has also prioritized public health and sports, developing 189 walking paths with a total length of 160 kilometers, along with 155 sports fields, providing numerous options for engaging in physical activities in a healthy and open environment.
Jazan Winter Festival: Nature's Treasures
These preparations coincide with the upcoming Jazan Winter Festival, scheduled to begin on December 25th, under the theme "Nature's Treasures." This festival is a prominent cultural and entertainment event in the region, aiming to showcase Jazan's tourism potential, from its pristine coastlines and enchanting islands to its towering mountains and verdant plains. The festival is expected to feature a wide array of activities catering to diverse age groups, thereby boosting economic and tourism activity in the region.
