In a visit of significant strategic and developmental importance, His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior, arrived in Sakaka today, where he met with His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Nawaf bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Al-Jawf Region. This visit is part of His Highness's ongoing tours of various regions of the Kingdom to assess the progress of work and understand the needs of citizens and residents.
Leadership directives: Comprehensive and balanced development
During the meeting, His Royal Highness the Minister of Interior conveyed the greetings of the wise leadership, emphasizing that his visit to Al-Jawf region comes in implementation of the sound directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister – may God protect them both. His Royal Highness explained that these directives focus primarily on ensuring comprehensive and balanced attention to the development of all regions of the Kingdom without exception, thereby strengthening the security and stability system and propelling sustainable development forward.
This interest reflects the Kingdom’s strategic vision, which aims to reduce developmental disparities between regions and enhance the comparative advantages of each region, as the regional emirates – which are supervised by the Ministry of Interior – are the main pillar in coordinating government efforts and following up on the implementation of development projects that directly affect the lives of citizens.

Al-Jawf: A developmental renaissance and a strategic location
Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud noted the remarkable developmental progress and rapid advancements witnessed in the Al-Jawf region across various sectors. He commended the tireless efforts of the region's emirate, under the continuous guidance of Prince Faisal bin Nawaf, which have had a clear positive impact on improving the quality of life for citizens and residents, and on strengthening the security environment conducive to investment and stability.
The Al-Jawf region is of great strategic importance in the Saudi development map, not only because of its geographical location as the northern gateway to the Kingdom, but also because of its enormous economic potential, starting with being the "food basket of the Kingdom" due to its agricultural wealth, and reaching its hosting of giant renewable energy projects within the Kingdom's Vision 2030. The harmony between security and development comes as an essential element to ensure the continuation and protection of these achievements.

An effective partnership between the Ministry of Interior and the region's emirate
For his part, His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Nawaf bin Abdulaziz expressed his appreciation for the visit of His Highness the Minister of Interior, conveying his deep gratitude for the Ministry's unwavering support to the regional governorates. His Highness emphasized the pivotal role of the Ministry of Interior in maintaining security and consolidating stability, which is the cornerstone of any developmental or economic activity in the region.
