Al-Muhaidib wins the saddle and the private island at the camel festival

In an exceptional event that blends the heritage of the past with the technologies of the future, Ibrahim Al-Muhaidib achieved a remarkable accomplishment by winning the third edition of the "Sanam" platform, after topping the list of competitors and achieving the highest total points in a digital and heritage marathon that lasted for more than 30 days as part of the activities of the King Abdulaziz Camel Festival in its tenth edition.
This victory was crowned by the grand prize package previously announced by Sheikh Fahd bin Falah bin Hathleen, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Camel Club. This package included the honor of greeting the patron of the event, the prestigious "Shaddad" prize, and the unique prize of a "private island." The recognition wasn't limited to the first-place winner; it extended to his support team who accompanied him on the competition journey. The top ten winners received valuable cash prizes totaling 5 million Saudi Riyals.
King Abdulaziz Camel Festival: A cultural and heritage showcase
This crowning achievement comes within the framework of the King Abdulaziz Camel Festival, the world's largest event specializing in camels, held annually in the southern Al-Dahna desert. The festival represents a massive cultural, economic, and sporting event, aiming to preserve and promote camel heritage within Saudi, Arab, and Islamic culture. Over the years, the festival has transformed from a traditional competition into a global carnival, attracting enthusiasts and tourists from around the world, reflecting the rich cultural heritage of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its leadership's commitment to preserving its cultural traditions.
Sanam platform: Digitizing heritage and promoting identity
The "Sanam" game represents a qualitative leap in the way we engage with our cultural heritage, extending the Camel Club's ongoing development efforts to transform this heritage into a modern, interactive experience. The platform aims to familiarize the younger generation and the general public with the details and terminology of camel competitions, blending authenticity with innovative digital solutions. It has successfully integrated entertainment with education, generating widespread public engagement that kept everyone on the edge of their seats until the winner was announced.
Record numbers and national targets
The third edition of the Ra'i Al-Nazar platform achieved record-breaking numbers, attracting over 600,000 players in a short period of less than 40 days. This propelled it to the top of mobile app stores, making it the most popular game in Saudi Arabia. Through these initiatives, the Camel Club is achieving several strategic objectives aligned with the Kingdom's Vision 2030, most notably promoting camel culture globally, developing the economy of this vital sector, and strengthening national identity through modern platforms that resonate with contemporary audiences.
