Creations 25 in Al-Khobar: 5,000 visitors support productive families

The Girl of the Gulf Charitable Society in Al-Khobar concluded its 25th annual "Creations" exhibition (Silver Jubilee), held under the patronage of Princess Abeer bint Faisal bin Turki, wife of the Governor of the Eastern Province. This year's exhibition was a prominent social and economic event, attracting over 5,000 visitors and boosting sales for 75 participating projects by productive families and female entrepreneurs in the region.
Silver Jubilee: A quarter century of giving and empowerment
The organization of the 25th edition of the exhibition marks a pivotal moment in the history of the Girl of the Gulf Society, one of the oldest charitable organizations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The exhibition's continuation for a quarter of a century reflects the Society's unwavering commitment to its developmental mission and its shift from traditional welfare concepts to sustainable development principles. Over the years, the exhibition has successfully served as a launching pad for numerous women who have transitioned from low-income, productive families to successful owners of small and medium-sized enterprises.
Economic activity and support for local products
The exhibition witnessed remarkable creative competition among the 75 participating businesses, showcasing a diverse range of products including the latest jalabiya designs, locally blended perfumes, and exquisitely crafted jewelry. This diversity not only reflected the craftsmanship of Saudi women but also underscored their ability to innovate and compete in the retail sector. The large public turnout, exceeding five thousand visitors, is a strong indicator of the community's confidence in the quality of national products and consumers' desire to support local businesses, thus enhancing the financial sustainability of these families and contributing to economic empowerment goals.
Integrating efforts and keeping pace with Vision 2030
In a related context, the exhibition was not limited to sales alone. Centers affiliated with the association, such as the "Ataa Al-Khair" Center and the "Family Education" Center, also participated to promote the concept of integrated development work. These efforts align with the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, which places great importance on the non-profit sector, women's empowerment, and increasing the contribution of productive families to the GDP. This large-scale event was managed by a highly qualified national team, comprising 50 members and 10 volunteers, with the support of seven partners, embodying the values of volunteerism and professionalism in managing major events in the Eastern Province.
A platform for anticipating the future
In conclusion, the “Creations 25” exhibition is establishing itself as an indispensable annual marketing destination on the Eastern Province’s agenda, not only as a commercial event, but also as a business incubator that contributes to developing the skills of participants and linking training outputs to actual market needs, thus ensuring the continuation of the development process and transforming economic challenges into promising opportunities for Saudi families.
