This massive project aims to humanize an area exceeding 51,000 square meters, as part of the early and intensive preparations to receive pilgrims for the 1447 AH Hajj season. This initiative seeks to enhance the pilgrims’ experience and promote greater comfort and safety while performing the rituals with ease and convenience.

The new project's implementation plans included developing approximately 850 square meters along King Abdulaziz Road, in addition to rehabilitating over 50,900 square meters in the pilgrim drop-off areas of Muzdalifah. These works were carried out according to modern engineering and environmental standards that prioritize improving the quality of movement and transportation within the holy sites. The work included the construction of specially designed pedestrian flooring, the provision of innovative shading elements and modern seating areas, along with integrated service facilities that directly contribute to reducing physical strain and enhancing the pilgrim experience as they move between locations. The phase also included a project to humanize the drop-off areas in Muzdalifah by equipping them with advanced shading and cooling systems, in accordance with the high density of pilgrims during the periods of Tawaf al-Ifadah and Muzdalifah.
