Important instructions for the safety of pilgrims in Arafat | Hajj
In line with the Saudi leadership's commitment to the safety of pilgrims, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah issued an urgent and direct appeal to all pilgrims in Arafat. The Ministry urged pilgrims to remain in their camps on the ninth of Dhul-Hijjah until 4:00 PM. This strategic directive aims to protect their health and safety from direct exposure to the scorching sun during peak hours, effectively reducing cases of heat exhaustion and sunstroke while performing the most important pillar of Hajj.

This technological measure allows pilgrims to listen to the sermon with ease and peace of mind, without the need to move around or leave their locations, thus reducing crowding on open roads.
Adherence to approved crowd management plans
To ensure smooth movement, the Ministry urged pilgrims to strictly adhere to the approved crowd management plans and their precise schedules. It stressed the importance of avoiding unauthorized routes and areas not designated for pedestrians. Any deviation from these plans could cause significant disruption to the crowd management system, negatively impacting the flow of movement between holy sites and endangering the lives of others through unnecessary overcrowding.
