Hail: The world's largest four-wheel drive parade to enter the Guinness World Records

Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Saad bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Hail Region and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Hail Region Development Authority, the eyes of adventure and automotive enthusiasts are turning to the northwest of the Kingdom, where the historic area of Tuwaran is preparing to host an exceptional global event. This event will be the largest rally of four-wheel-drive vehicles in the Kingdom, the Middle East, and the world, on Friday, January 16, 2026, in a serious attempt to break the world record and register it in the Guinness World Records.

This huge event is jointly organized by the Saudi Tourism Authority and the Hail Region Development Authority, and enjoys special sponsorship from the King Salman bin Abdulaziz Royal Reserve Development Authority and the House of Culture, in addition to logistical and organizational support from 14 government agencies, led by the Hail Region Governorate and the Saudi Federation for Cars and Motorcycles, reflecting the concerted efforts to make this national event a success.

Tuarin... a fragrance of history and a spirit of adventure

The choice of the Tuwaran region to host this march was not accidental; rather, it was intended to reinforce the area's cultural and historical significance. The association of Tuwaran with the legendary figure of Hatim al-Tai, a symbol of authentic Arab generosity, lends the event a unique heritage character, blending the authenticity of the past with the modernity of the present. With its stunning mountainous landscape and diverse terrain, this region provides an ideal setting for combining cultural and adventure tourism, allowing participants and visitors the opportunity to explore archaeological sites while enjoying the thrill of sport.

Hail... the capital of rallies and desert adventures

This event reinforces Hail's established position as a premier destination for desert sports in the region. Nestled amidst the majestic Aja and Salma mountains, Hail boasts a rich history of hosting similar events, most notably the Hail International Rally, which has placed the region firmly on the global sporting map. This year's rally is expected to feature approximately 700 four-wheel-drive vehicles traversing a rugged 7-kilometer desert course, creating a breathtaking spectacle that showcases the unique character of Hail's environment and embodies the spirit of challenge among the participants.

Promising economic and tourism dimensions

Beyond its sporting and entertainment aspects, this event carries significant economic weight. Organizing such global events contributes noticeably to stimulating economic activity in the region by increasing occupancy rates in the accommodation and hotel sector and boosting demand for tourist services, facilities, and restaurants. The event also aligns with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 to establish the Kingdom as a global tourist destination, showcasing the capabilities of national talent in organizing and managing large-scale events according to the highest international standards.

This event is expected to offer an exceptional winter experience for visitors, reflecting aspirations towards a sustainable tourism industry that invests in the natural and cultural assets that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia abounds in.
