Guest service centers at the Prophet's Mosque and their locations

As part of ongoing efforts to enhance the experience of pilgrims to the Two Holy Mosques, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia continues to dedicate all its resources to serving visitors to the city of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). The "Guest Service Centers" at the Prophet's Mosque serve as a prime example of the qualitative development in the services provided, acting as a vital link between visitors and operational entities to ensure the performance of religious rites with ease and tranquility.

The General Authority for the Care of the Two Holy Mosques has revealed, through its official platforms, a comprehensive package of services offered by these centers located throughout the courtyards of the Prophet's Mosque. These centers operate 24 hours a day to meet the needs of visitors of all nationalities and age groups. This initiative comes in response to the increasing numbers of worshippers and visitors, particularly during religious seasons and peak times.

Key services offered at guest service centers

The services provided are comprehensive and diverse, covering security, technical, and guidance aspects, and include the following:

  • Safety bracelets: A service designed for children and the elderly to facilitate access to them in case of overcrowding or getting lost.
  • Technical assistance: Providing the necessary support to visitors in using official government applications such as the "Nusk" application and the "Tawakkalna" application, making it easier for them to book appointments and view permits.
  • Mobility services: Providing a cart lending service for the elderly and people with special needs, specifically at the two centers located at doors (301 – 331).
  • Guidance and orientation: Helping lost people and guiding them to their destinations, in addition to answering general and religious inquiries (spatial and legal guidance).
  • Primary care: Dealing with emergency medical cases and providing initial support before the arrival of specialized medical teams.
  • Linguistic communication: Providing translation and communication services in several languages to serve visitors of different nationalities.

Center locations and accessibility

To ensure comprehensive geographical coverage of the Prophet's Mosque courtyards, the centers were distributed at strategic points:

  • North side: Serves visitors through doors (329-331) and operates around the clock, in addition to door (339).
  • South side: Services are concentrated at door (301), which is available 24 hours a day, and door (307).

General context and strategic importance

These services are part of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, specifically the "Serving the Guests of God" program, which aims to enrich the religious and cultural experience of visitors. Service at the Two Holy Mosques is no longer limited to providing space and water; it has evolved into a comprehensive smart system that relies on modern technology and trained personnel to deliver "Saudi hospitality" to international standards.

This expansion of services, from distributing security bracelets to technical support, reflects the Authority’s keenness to proactively address field challenges, which enhances the Kingdom’s civilized image and confirms its leadership in crowd management and serving Muslims, thus providing a safe and spiritual environment befitting the sanctity of the place.
