This systematic review was based on an analysis of clinical trial data published in English since 2000. The analyses included six studies targeting adolescent girls, eleven studies focusing on pregnant women, and nine studies that investigated the positive effects of guava when supplemented with dietary supplements. The overall results showed a significant improvement in blood parameters; hemoglobin levels in participants increased by approximately 1.71 g/dL as a result of regular guava juice consumption, confirming the high medical value of this natural beverage in combating anemia.
