The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, in cooperation with the Council of Senior Scholars, will hold the Grand Hajj Symposium . This exceptional edition, themed “The Symposium: An Effective Platform in Serving the Guests of God… Half a Century of Knowledge Enrichment,” will witness broad participation from a distinguished group of dignitaries, scholars, thinkers, researchers, and specialists from across the Islamic world.

Since its inception in 1397 AH (1977 CE), the Grand Hajj Symposium a landmark event in the contemporary history of the Hajj season. This platform was established to serve as a bridge for intellectual and scholarly exchange among the scholars of the Muslim world who converge on the Holy Sites annually. Over the past five decades, the symposium has kept pace with the rapid developments in the Hajj system and has served as a historical record documenting the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in expanding the Two Holy Mosques and developing their infrastructure.
