As part of the Al-Malwah competition, the festival organizers dedicated the fourth day of competitions to the local amateur category, with 227 falcons participating across seven main rounds characterized by intense competition and enthusiasm. The participating categories included: Gyrfalcon (juvenile and adult), Peregrine falcon (juvenile and adult), and Saker falcon (juvenile and adult).
Results of the triple gear round
The competitions opened with the “Mathlouth Gyr Farakh” category, where falconer Yousef Al-Mustanir secured first place with his falcon (Tarshih), followed by Faisal Al-Sharafi in second place with his falcon (Sultan), and Abdullah Al-Afis in third place with his falcon (Ghanah). In the “Mathlouth Gyr Qarnas” category, Awad Al-Aradi claimed first place with his falcon (Dhan), Hamad Al-Marri came in second with his falcon (Daghsh), and Fahd Al-Qahtani took third place with his falcon (V12).
Dominance in the Shaheen and Hurr races
In the “Shaheen Fakh” category, Mo’ajeb Al-Dossari shone, securing first place with his falcon (Reema), followed by Meshal Al-Shammari in second place and Rakan Al-Shaibani in third. In the “Shaheen Qarnas” category, Mohammed Al-Buainain claimed first place with his falcon (Shanah). The “Hurr” competitions were particularly exciting, with Abdulaziz Al-Fahigi winning first place in the first round of the “Hurr Fakh” category with his falcon (Latam), while Fawaz Al-Hajri snatched first place in the second round of the same category with his falcon (Ghaith). The fourth day concluded with the “Hurr Qarnas” competitions, in which Duaij Al-Duaij was crowned champion with his falcon (Habas).
