Artificial Intelligence and the Future of Healthcare Projects in Al-Qassim | Third Edition

The third edition of the "Future of Healthcare Projects Forum" kicked off in Buraidah, Qassim region. Organized by the Qassim Health Cluster in strategic partnership with the Society of Healthcare Engineers, the two-day event is being hosted by the Mövenpick Hotel and is attracting a significant number of experts and specialists in the healthcare and engineering sectors.
A national vision for digital transformation
This forum is being held at a crucial time, coinciding with the rapid strides Saudi Arabia is making toward achieving the goals of Vision 2030, particularly with regard to the healthcare transformation program. Integrating modern technologies and artificial intelligence into the infrastructure of healthcare facilities is a fundamental pillar for ensuring service quality and operational efficiency. Digital transformation is no longer a luxury; it has become an urgent necessity to keep pace with global standards in the design and management of smart hospitals and medical centers.
Artificial intelligence and the future of sustainability
Under the theme "Technological Transformation for a Sustainable Healthcare Future," this year's forum sessions focus heavily on leveraging artificial intelligence and big data analytics in healthcare development. This approach aims to enhance facility efficiency, reduce operational waste, and promote environmental sustainability in healthcare buildings. Participants, including healthcare leaders, engineers, and planners, will discuss the latest innovations that contribute to creating a sophisticated and safe healthcare environment for patients.
Government support and strategic planning
During the opening ceremony, Dr. Musa Al-Harbi, CEO of the Qassim Health Cluster, emphasized that the forum represents a vital platform for exchanging expertise and integrating visions between the public and private sectors. He pointed out that conscious planning is the cornerstone for building a sustainable healthcare future. Dr. Al-Harbi also expressed his appreciation for the generous patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Qassim Region, affirming that this support reflects the wise leadership's commitment to developing the healthcare system in the region and providing the best services to citizens and residents.
Developing professional competencies
As part of its commitment to continuous professional development, the forum offers added value to participants by accrediting Professional Development Units (PDUs) from the Project Management Institute (PMI). This serves as a significant incentive for engineers and project managers to attend sessions and workshops, contributing to enhancing the skills of national talent and equipping them with the latest global knowledge and expertise in managing and constructing complex healthcare projects.
