Under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, may God protect him, the Saudi capital, Riyadh, is preparing to host the fourth edition of the Future of Aviation Conference 2026 , organized by the General Authority of Civil Aviation from April 20 to 22, 2026. This global event reaffirms the Kingdom's pivotal role in the international air transport industry.
Strategic importance and unlimited leadership support
His Excellency the Minister of Transport and Logistics and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Authority of Civil Aviation, Engineer Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser, expressed his deepest gratitude and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and to His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister - may God protect them - for the generous and unlimited support that the transport and logistics sector enjoys.
Al-Jasser stressed that the generous royal patronage of this event embodies the wise leadership’s keenness to achieve the objectives of the National Strategy for Transport and Logistics, which aims to consolidate the Kingdom’s position as a global logistics hub linking the three continents (Asia, Africa, and Europe), thereby enhancing sustainable economic development.
Future Aviation Conference: A global platform for decision-making
For his part, His Excellency the President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation, Mr. Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Duailij, explained that the conference has become a highly anticipated event on the agenda of aviation leaders worldwide, especially after its accreditation by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) as a leading global platform. He noted that the fourth edition will be an exceptional opportunity to exchange visions and ideas on the major challenges facing the sector and ways to enhance innovation and sustainability.
The conference gains its importance from the fact that it brings together more than 120 countries and more than 11,000 participants from the elite of experts and decision-makers, to discuss the future of advanced air transport, and to develop policies that ensure safe and sustainable growth for global air traffic.

The Future of Aviation 2026 conference places a strong emphasis on fostering partnerships with the private sector, as the Kingdom aims to attract over $100 billion to the aviation sector by 2030. These efforts seek to:
