The meeting, attended by Their Highnesses, Excellencies, and Highnesses the Foreign Ministers of the Council, addressed the rapidly evolving situation regarding Iran's blatant aggression against the GCC states and discussed ways to counter these practices that threaten regional security and peace.
At the beginning of the meeting, Their Highnesses and Excellencies reiterated their condemnation and denunciation in the strongest terms of these blatant and unjustified attacks carried out by Iran against the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, stressing that these actions constitute a flagrant violation of international charters and laws.

The repercussions of Iranian attacks on the security of the region
The discussion of Iranian aggression at this sensitive time highlights the broader context of regional tensions. Foreign interference in the affairs of Gulf states has long been a security concern requiring continuous, high-level coordination. The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states view these practices as a threat not only to individual countries but also to the entire Gulf collective security system, as well as a threat to international shipping lanes and global energy supplies, which are vital to the international economy.
The participants stressed the legitimate right of the GCC countries to take all necessary measures and harness all capabilities to protect their security and stability, and to preserve the safety of their territories and citizens against any external threats, noting that the security of the GCC countries is indivisible.
The importance of Gulf coordination and the international stance
This extraordinary meeting is of paramount importance both regionally and internationally, sending a clear message of Gulf unity in the face of challenges. This diplomatic move is expected to have a significant impact on mobilizing international public opinion to condemn these destabilizing actions. The meeting also reflects the GCC states' commitment to pursuing diplomatic and legal avenues to deter any aggression, while fully reserving the right to respond decisively to protect national sovereignty.
The meeting was attended by His Highness the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Undersecretary for Multilateral International Affairs Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Rassi, Director General of the General Department for Asian Countries Nasser Al-Ghanoum, and Director of the Gulf Cooperation Council Department Faisal bin Saeed, reflecting the great interest and active diplomacy led by the Kingdom to ensure the stability of the region.
