The Foreign Minister chairs a meeting of the Saud Al-Faisal Institute and reviews its strategy
His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Prince Saud Al-Faisal Institute for Diplomatic Studies, chaired today the first meeting of the Institute's Board of Directors in its new formation. His Highness began the meeting by congratulating Their Highnesses and Excellencies, the members of the Board, on the issuance of the Cabinet's decision to reconstitute the Board, wishing them success in their duties to enhance the Institute's leading role.
Review of the vision and strategic directions
The meeting included a comprehensive review of the institute's future vision and core objectives, with discussions on planned strategic programs and mechanisms for developing the institute's operational framework. This development initiative aims to ensure the institute's outputs align with the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, which places great emphasis on enhancing the Kingdom's international presence and developing its soft power tools.
Prince Saud Al Faisal Institute: A Long-Lasting Diplomatic Legacy
The institute bears the name of the late Prince Saud Al-Faisal, the dean of Saudi and Arab diplomacy, who skillfully and capably led Saudi diplomacy for four decades. It is the Kingdom's premier academic and training institution dedicated to developing national diplomatic talent. Since its establishment, the institute has played a pivotal role in providing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and international organizations with a select group of Saudi diplomats who have represented the Kingdom in various international forums, grounded in sound scientific and professional principles.
