Today, the Ministry aims to enhance response speed and improve field preparedness in the Holy Sites through the Emerge platform, the unified platform for the emergency and crisis management system, which has won a prestigious award as one of the top three global platforms for smart cities, reflecting the significant technological development in this vital field.

The ministry explained that the center undertakes vital tasks including organizing and operating emergency rooms and closely monitoring the readiness of field centers. It also ensures that contact information is up-to-date and that the necessary vehicles and equipment for rapid intervention are inventoried. Furthermore, the center monitors shift plans and maintains continuous coordination with all relevant entities to guarantee the continuity of operations throughout the season, all accessible in real time via a dedicated digital platform.
