About Ihsan Platform: Digital leadership in charitable work

Launched in March 2021 by royal decree of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, the “Ihsan” platform is a pioneering model for the governance and regulation of charitable work in the Kingdom. Operating under the supervision of the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) and with the participation of a supervisory committee comprising several government entities, the platform ensures the highest levels of transparency and reliability. “Ihsan” aims to maximize the impact of the non-profit sector and empower it, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, which seeks to increase the contribution of this vital sector to national development.

The impact of donations: from facilitating Hajj to building mosques

These generous donations were directed towards supporting impactful programs and projects that have had a tangible positive impact on the lives of thousands of beneficiaries. Among the key areas covered by the donations were:

Hajj and Umrah Gift Program: Donations have contributed to facilitating the performance of Hajj and Umrah rituals for more than 24,000 beneficiaries who are unable to afford them, enabling them to fulfill their wish to visit the holy sites and perform the fifth pillar of Islam with ease and peace of mind.
Mosque Care: A portion of the donations was allocated to support the construction of six new mosques in various regions of the Kingdom, in addition to supporting the maintenance and operation of 420 existing mosques. This support enhances the readiness of mosques and creates a suitable spiritual environment for worshippers, reflecting the Kingdom's great interest in the construction and upkeep of mosques.
