The Board of Grievances trains 4,139 employees in artificial intelligence

In a strategic move reflecting the judiciary's commitment to keeping pace with the latest global technological developments, the Board of Grievances implemented a comprehensive and high-quality package of specialized training programs during 2025. These programs focused directly on digital transformation and artificial intelligence technologies, aiming to develop the capabilities of more than 4,100 of its judicial and administrative staff. The goal was to enhance the efficiency of the administrative justice system and align it with the rapidly evolving demands of the digital age.
A qualitative leap in judicial training
The training plan included the implementation of 134 intensive programs totaling over 6,648 training hours, covering all courts and departments of the Board of Grievances throughout the Kingdom. This geographical and quantitative expansion aims to ensure comprehensive training and standardized performance levels among all Board of Grievances staff, thereby guaranteeing the provision of high-quality judicial services to beneficiaries nationwide.
The context of digital transformation and Vision 2030
This movement cannot be viewed in isolation from the broader national context; these steps align with the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, which prioritizes digital transformation. The justice sector, and specifically the administrative judiciary, is a cornerstone in fostering a favorable investment environment and safeguarding rights. Since the launch of the Vision, the Kingdom has witnessed a radical shift from paper-based transactions to smart digital platforms. The Board of Grievances' investment in human capital is crucial to ensuring the sustainability of this digital transformation, as the use of technology is no longer a luxury but an imperative for the swift resolution of administrative disputes.
Future skills and cybersecurity
The training programs focused specifically on equipping trainees with future-oriented skills, including artificial intelligence applications, emerging technologies, and cybersecurity fundamentals. This emphasis on cybersecurity is of paramount importance given the digitization of cases and documents, as it strengthens the digital resilience of the system and protects litigants' data, thereby increasing confidence in electronic judicial services.
Expected impact on the justice system
These programs aimed to enhance staff readiness to professionally handle evolving systems and procedures, and to improve the quality of judicial and administrative outputs. This training is expected to positively impact the speed and accuracy of processing transactions and cases, and reduce litigation time, thus contributing to the achievement of swift justice. The Court further strengthened this system by building effective strategic partnerships with governmental and private entities, both locally and internationally, to transfer global best practices and localize technical knowledge within the courts, striving for comprehensive institutional excellence.
