Strategic importance of the Makkah region
This visit is of particular importance given the strategic importance of the Makkah region, not only as a holy religious destination but also as a vital logistics and industrial hub. The region encompasses several major industrial cities, particularly in Jeddah, home to Jeddah Islamic Port, the Kingdom's primary trade artery, making it a key gateway for industrial exports and imports. Supporting the national economy and localizing jobs

These projects aim to diversify national income sources and reduce reliance on oil. They also directly aim to create thousands of high-quality job opportunities for the region's youth and increase the private sector's contribution to the GDP, in line with national aspirations to build a prosperous and sustainable economy.
