The Deputy Governor of Madinah inspects the exhibition and museum of the Prophet's biography and its technologies

As part of the ongoing interest in enriching the religious and cultural experience of visitors to the city of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nahar bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of the Madinah Region, visited the Exhibition and Museum of the Prophet’s Biography and Islamic Civilization, which is located in the southern courtyards opposite the Prophet’s Mosque.
During the tour, His Highness was briefed on the latest digital technologies and cinematic presentations employed by the exhibition to present the details of the Prophet's life in a modern style that appeals to both the mind and heart. He also listened to a detailed explanation from the Secretary-General of the Muslim World League and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the International Exhibitions and Museums of the Prophet's Biography and Islamic Civilization, Dr. Nasser bin Musfir Al-Qurashi Al-Zahrani, who reviewed the most prominent updates and development projects aimed at providing reliable and accessible scholarly content for visitors from around the world.
Innovative technologies in the exhibition and museum of the Prophet's biography
During his visit, the Deputy Governor of the region witnessed how authenticity and modernity were seamlessly integrated within the exhibition halls. Virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and large interactive screens were employed to transport visitors on a journey back in time to the era of the Prophet Muhammad. This approach ensures that historical and Islamic information is presented in an engaging and memorable way, making the Prophet's Biography Exhibition and Museum a leading educational platform that goes beyond traditional narratives, utilizing visual spectacle to enhance the religious content.
A global beacon for introducing the tolerance of Islam
This ambitious project, overseen by the Muslim World League, is the first of its kind globally, dedicated to introducing Islam and its tolerant values through the life of the Prophet Muhammad. The exhibition's significance extends beyond the local sphere, serving as a global cultural showcase that reflects the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's commitment to serving the Two Holy Mosques and promoting moderation and centrism. The museum aims to correct misconceptions about Islam and present the true image of the Prophet's approach to humanity, making it a major attraction for diplomatic delegations and international visitors.
Integration with the Kingdom's Vision 2030
These development efforts are perfectly aligned with the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, specifically the "Serving the Guests of God" program, which aims to enrich the religious and cultural journey of pilgrims and Umrah performers. The presence of a prominent landmark like this exhibition adjacent to the Prophet's Mosque directly contributes to deepening the spiritual impact on visitors and transforms their visit to Madinah into a comprehensive educational experience. It also reflects the strong support provided by the wise leadership for high-quality projects that highlight the Kingdom's historical and cultural heritage and reaffirm its position as the beating heart of the Islamic world.
