Deputy Minister of Defense sponsors graduation of university officers 1447 AH

On behalf of His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Defense, His Highness Prince Abdulrahman bin Mohammed bin Ayyaf, Deputy Minister of Defense, today presided over the graduation ceremony for university graduates of the Armed Forces' officer training courses for the academic year 1447 AH. The ceremony was held at the King Abdulaziz Military College in Al-Uyaynah, one of the Kingdom's most prominent military educational institutions.
Official reception and high-level leadership presence
Upon his arrival at the college, His Highness was received by a distinguished group of military leaders, headed by His Excellency Lieutenant General Fahd bin Abdullah Al-Ghafeeli, Deputy Chief of the General Staff; His Excellency Lieutenant General Fahd bin Saud Al-Juhani, Chief of Staff of the Land Forces; and Major General Fahd bin Saad Al-Qahiz, Commander of King Abdulaziz Military College. This high-level attendance reflects the great importance that the wise leadership and the Ministry of Defense place on strengthening military personnel and providing them with qualified national talent.
Ceremony and Leadership Speech
The ceremony began with the playing of the Royal Anthem upon the arrival of His Royal Highness the Deputy Minister of Defense, followed by a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran. In his address, the Commandant of King Abdulaziz Military College expressed his deep gratitude to His Royal Highness the Deputy Minister of Defense for his generous patronage, noting that the graduates had successfully completed their military training, moving between classrooms and training fields, acquiring the leadership skills and military values that qualify them to be effective officers in the various branches of the Armed Forces, capable of keeping pace with the development and modernization taking place within the Ministry of Defense.
The importance of university officer training courses
University officer training courses hold significant strategic importance within the Saudi defense system, aiming to integrate specialized academic expertise in medical, engineering, technical, and administrative fields with military discipline and science. This combination contributes to enhancing the operational efficiency of the armed forces and supporting the Ministry of Defense's development programs, aligning with the Kingdom's Vision 2030 objectives of localizing military industries and strengthening self-reliant defense capabilities.
Pledge of loyalty and honoring outstanding individuals
Graduate Saleh bin Jamal Al-Fayez delivered a speech on behalf of his fellow graduates, expressing their pride and gratitude for the patronage of His Royal Highness the Deputy Minister of Defense at their graduation ceremony. They renewed their pledge of allegiance to the wise leadership and affirmed their complete readiness to defend the homeland and protect its sacred sites. Following this, the ceremony featured an impressive military parade showcasing the graduates' high level of discipline and field skills, after which they took their oath.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, the overall results were announced, and His Royal Highness Prince Abdulrahman bin Mohammed honored the outstanding students. He also received a commemorative gift from the college commander. After the graduates were awarded their military ranks and commemorative photographs were taken, the Royal Anthem was played, marking the end of the ceremony.
Wide attendance of senior officials
The ceremony was attended by a number of senior leaders and officials, including His Excellency Lieutenant General Jarallah bin Mohammed Al-Alawit, Commander of the Strategic Missile Force; His Royal Highness Lieutenant General Turki bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Commander of the Royal Saudi Air Force; and His Excellency Lieutenant General Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Gharibi, Chief of Staff of the Royal Saudi Naval Forces. Also present were Ibrahim bin Ahmed Al-Suwaid, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defense for Procurement and Armament; Engineer Mohammed bin Faisal bin Muammar, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defense for Excellence Services; and a number of senior civilian and military officials, as well as the graduates' families.
