Princess Nourah University wins two e-learning innovation awards 2025

In a new academic achievement reflecting its leadership in the field of digital transformation, Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University two prestigious awards in the "Making an Impact" category at the 2024-2025 Innovation in E-Learning and Training Award ceremony. This recognition came during the "Digital Education Forum 2025" organized by the National Center for E-Learning in Riyadh, in the presence of a select group of experts and decision-makers in the education sector.
Leading the way in the digital impact industry
The university secured first place in two categories: "E-Learning and Training Initiatives" through its pioneering "Flexible Learning" initiative, and "Open Educational Content." These awards are granted to entities that succeed in creating a tangible and sustainable impact in providing lifelong learning opportunities, developing human capabilities in accordance with global standards, and enriching and maximizing the use of open Arabic content.
Context of national transformation and future vision
This victory is not a fleeting event, but rather the culmination of Princess Nourah University's ongoing strategic efforts to align with the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 , specifically the Human Capital Development Program. Since the launch of the Vision, Saudi educational institutions have strived to bridge the gap between academic outputs and the demands of the rapidly evolving job market, a goal the university has successfully achieved by integrating technology into education and adopting innovative teaching models.

The university's "Flexible Learning Pathways" initiative has achieved remarkable success, serving as an innovative model for integrating academia with the job market. The initiative has recorded figures that reflect its significant impact:
- More than 25,000 beneficiaries from the programs offered.
- The initiative will be implemented through three strategic tracks: academic programs, support for graduates, and continuous professional development.
Regarding open educational content, the university has strengthened its global digital presence through:
- Providing more than 4500 educational resources on the "OERx" platform.
- Achieving over 94,000 digital interactions with these resources.
- Ascending to fifth place in the platform's partner rankings, with a diverse range of resources encompassing 165 groups covering multiple sub-disciplines.
