The Crown Prince receives his Bahraini counterpart in Diriyah to discuss cooperation


His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, received in Diriyah today His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, in a fraternal meeting that reflects the deep-rooted relations between the two brotherly countries.
Review of historical relations and opportunities for cooperation
During the meeting, the deep-rooted historical relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Kingdom of Bahrain were reviewed, and the two sides discussed opportunities for bilateral cooperation in various promising fields. The meeting also addressed a number of topics of mutual interest, serving the interests of the two brotherly peoples and strengthening the joint Gulf Cooperation Council efforts.
Strategic depth and growing partnership
This visit comes within the framework of ongoing communication between the leaderships of the two countries. Saudi-Bahraini relations represent a distinguished model of relations between nations, based on solid foundations of shared history, kinship ties, and a common destiny. The two leaderships are working diligently through the Saudi-Bahraini Coordination Council to align development and economic efforts, in accordance with the objectives of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 and Bahrain's Economic Vision 2030, to elevate the level of trade and investment and create high-quality opportunities for both countries.

The Crown Prince's reception of his Bahraini counterpart in Diriyah carries profound symbolic significance, as Diriyah represents the cradle of the Saudi state and the starting point of its glorious history. The reception was attended on the Saudi side by His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Energy; His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Riyadh Region; and His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs. Also present were Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban, Minister of State, Member of the Council of Ministers, and National Security Advisor; Mr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Jadaan, Minister of Finance; and Mr. Nayef Al-Sudairi, Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
On the Bahraini side, those present included Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister; Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior; Sheikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Court; Sheikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy; Hamad Faisal Al Maliki, Minister of Cabinet Affairs; and Sheikh Ali bin Abdul Rahman Al Khalifa, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Kingdom.
