The Crown Prince arrives in Bahrain to head the Kingdom's delegation at the 46th Gulf Summit
His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, arrived today in the Kingdom of Bahrain on an official visit of great importance at both the Gulf and bilateral levels. This visit is to head the Saudi delegation participating in the 46th session of the Supreme Council of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, in addition to chairing the Saudi side at the fourth meeting of the Saudi-Bahraini Coordination Council.
Upon the arrival of His Highness the Crown Prince at the Royal Hall at the King Fahd Causeway, coming from Al-Khobar Governorate, a grand official reception ceremony took place, in which his brother, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, was at the forefront of those receiving him, reflecting the depth of the strong fraternal ties that unite the two leaderships and the two brotherly peoples.
A number of senior officials from the Kingdom of Bahrain also participated in welcoming His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, headed by His Highness Sheikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Royal Court, and His Excellency Sheikh Ali bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in addition to the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Mr. Nayef bin Bandar Al-Sudairi. Following the welcoming ceremony, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, accompanied by His Royal Highness the Crown Prince of Bahrain, proceeded in a grand official motorcade to Sakhir Palace.
The 46th Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Summit is being held at a critical juncture for the region, with all eyes on Manama to see the outcomes of this fraternal gathering of GCC leaders. The summit primarily aims to strengthen joint Gulf action, unify visions and positions on regional and international issues, and advance economic and security integration among member states, thereby fulfilling the aspirations of the region's people for stability and sustainable prosperity.
On the bilateral level, the convening of the fourth meeting of the Saudi-Bahraini Coordination Council represents a pivotal moment in the history of relations between the two countries, as the Council is concerned with following up on joint initiatives and projects that serve the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 and Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030, thus enhancing the strategic partnership in various vital sectors.
Accompanying His Royal Highness the Crown Prince was a high-level delegation including His Royal Highness Prince Abdullah bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Minister of the National Guard, His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Defense, His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Dr. Bandar bin Obaid Al-Rasheed, Secretary to His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, and His Excellency Mr. Rakan bin Mohammed Al-Tubaishi, Deputy Chief of Royal Protocol, to participate in the summit activities and accompanying meetings.
