Conference of Ministers of Endowments and Islamic Affairs, chaired by Saudi Arabia
Under the presidency of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the 15th meeting of the Executive Council of the Conference of Ministers of Endowments and Islamic Affairs in the Muslim World will commence tomorrow, Thursday. This important meeting will be chaired by His Excellency the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, Sheikh Dr. Abdul Latif bin Abdulaziz Al-Sheikh, Chairman of the Executive Council of the Conference, at 1:00 PM via videoconference, with broad participation from Their Excellencies the Ministers of Islamic Affairs and Endowments of the member states of the Executive Council.
Objectives of the Conference of Ministers of Endowments and Islamic Affairs and its historical role
This meeting is being held within a historical context marked by joint efforts aimed at unifying the Muslim world and coordinating visions among member states. The Executive Council of the Conference comprises eight pivotal countries representing diverse geographical regions of the Islamic world: the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Republic of Indonesia, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Republic of The Gambia, the State of Kuwait, the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the Kingdom of Morocco. Historically, the Council's objective has been to follow up on the implementation of resolutions issued by the General Conference, prepare its agendas, and submit recommendations and decisions that directly contribute to the development of joint Islamic action and enhance coordination and integration among the ministries of endowments and Islamic affairs in member states.
