This came in a statement by His Excellency following his participation in the work of the ninety-eighth session of the Council of Senior Scholars, which was held under the chairmanship of His Eminence the Grand Mufti of the Kingdom, where Dr. Al-Sheikh praised the great efforts made by the wise leadership in serving Sharia science and enhancing the role of scholars in society, stressing that this interest is not a recent development, but rather a firmly established approach that the Saudi state has followed since its founding, relying on the Book of God and the Sunnah of His Prophet - may God bless him and grant him peace - as a constitution and way of life.
