Civil Defense showcases landslide intervention truck at the Civil Defense exhibition
As part of its distinguished participation within the Ministry of Interior's pavilion at the World Defense Exhibition in Riyadh, the General Directorate of Civil Defense showcased its latest technologies in the field of search and rescue, represented by the "Collapsing Incident Intervention Truck," which is a qualitative leap in disaster and accident management at high-risk sites.
Highly advanced technological equipment
Visitors to the pavilion had the opportunity to learn firsthand about the immense capabilities of this truck, which is specifically designed to handle challenging and complex environments. The truck is equipped with a comprehensive suite of intelligent systems and heavy, precision equipment, most notably advanced sensors for detecting survivors under rubble, and optical and thermal imaging cameras that allow rescue teams to see in complete darkness or amidst thick dust, thus increasing the chances of finding survivors in record time.
The vehicle is also equipped with advanced hydraulic tools designed for cutting, lifting, and reinforcing, essential for handling collapsed concrete blocks and metal structures without endangering those trapped or rescuers. The equipment also includes versatile rescue stretchers suitable for various injuries and high-quality personal protective equipment to safeguard civil defense personnel while performing their duties.

To ensure continuity of operations in the most challenging conditions, the truck is equipped with generators and independent power systems, making it a mobile operations center capable of functioning independently of external networks that may be disrupted during disasters.
