Citizen Account deposits 3 billion riyals for January payment: Details and figures

The Citizen Account Program in Saudi Arabia announced on Sunday the deposit of SAR 3 billion in January support payments for eligible beneficiaries whose applications were complete, as part of the program's 98th payment cycle. This support covered a wide segment of the population, with the number of beneficiaries meeting the eligibility criteria exceeding 9.8 million, reflecting the program's continued vital role in supporting Saudi families.
In detailing the announced figures, Abdullah Al-Hajri, Director General of Communications for the Citizen Account Program, explained that 72% of beneficiaries received support in this payment cycle, with the average support per family reaching 1,474 riyals. Al-Hajri pointed out that the number of heads of households benefiting from the program in this cycle exceeded 2 million, representing 87% of the total primary beneficiaries, while the number of dependents reached more than 7.4 million, confirming the program's inclusiveness across various age groups and social strata within families.
