King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah launched its 13th annual Career featuring 90 leading companies. In this context, Dr. Mohammed Al-Harbi, Advisor to the Vice President for Academic Affairs and Supervisor of the Fair, told Al-Youm newspaper that the event represents a strategic extension of efforts to support the shift towards career-oriented education, aligning with national development goals.

Dr. Al-Harbi explained that the central objective of the forum, which is being held at the Superdome in Jeddah until April 8th, is to bridge the skills gap and create opportunities that align with graduates' aspirations. He noted that this year's edition represents a significant leap forward, with the participation of 90 companies and a strong presence from the Ministries of Industry and Mineral Resources and Communications and Information Technology, fostering integration between the public and private sectors. He pointed out that the job opportunities offered cover a wide range of specializations, including scientific, engineering, administrative, and financial fields, in addition to the medical and educational sectors, reflecting the actual needs of the market.
The forum's supervisor addressed the overwhelming response, noting that the accompanying online platform registered over 40,560 users, while attendance on the first day alone exceeded 6,000 visitors during the morning session. He added that the university developed a digital platform allowing participants to upload their resumes and generate a unique barcode, enabling them to easily and conveniently schedule interviews with participating companies.
