The latest report issued by the Saudi Health Council reveals the reality of cancer in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for 2022, with 24,470 new cases recorded. These statistics cannot be interpreted in isolation from the significant progress being made by the healthcare transformation program within the framework of Saudi Vision 2030. The increase in recorded figures compared to 2021, which saw 22,912 cases, does not necessarily indicate an excessive spread of the disease.
