The municipality of Buqayq Governorate confiscated 420 kg of illegal materials and closed several establishments

As part of its ongoing efforts to ensure consumer health and safety, the Buqayq Governorate Municipality a series of intensive inspection tours during the first quarter of this year. These comprehensive field campaigns resulted in the confiscation and destruction of more than 420 kilograms of food and consumer goods that violated health regulations. In addition, official warnings were issued to 38 commercial establishments that failed to comply with the required standards, all with the aim of improving the quality of municipal services provided in the governorate.

The Mayor of Buqayq Governorate, Engineer Mohammed Al-Dhafeeri, explained that the supervisory and field teams conducted approximately 102 inspection visits targeting various commercial and food establishments in the area. These efforts were not limited to commercial establishments alone, but also included 34 field visits targeting workers' accommodations to verify their adherence to the environmental and health requirements approved by the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing.

In this context, these efforts have resulted in the completion of 45 diverse municipal transactions, including the issuance, renewal, and transfer of commercial licenses.
