The Assistant Minister of Interior for Technology Affairs, Engineer Thamer bin Mohammed Al-Harbi, conducted an important inspection visit to the Unified Security Operations Center 911 in the Makkah region. This visit comes as part of the Ministry of Interior's commitment to monitoring operations and reviewing the latest technological equipment to ensure the provision of the best security and humanitarian services to citizens, residents, and pilgrims. He was received by the Commander of the National Security Operations Center, Brigadier General Omar bin Ayda Al-Talhi, where the readiness of the personnel and technological systems was reviewed.

During the visit, His Excellency Engineer Thamer Al-Harbi toured the various departments of the Unified Security Operations Center 911, where he was briefed on the daily workflow. The tour included learning how incoming reports and calls are handled and how quickly they are referred to the relevant authorities. The center also reviewed the mechanisms for meticulously tracking reports until their resolution with high professionalism, utilizing the latest standardized technologies. These procedures aim to provide high-quality services to pilgrims in multiple languages, 24 hours a day, reflecting the significant advancements in the Saudi security system.

The Unified Security Operations Centers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are among the most important strategic initiatives of the Ministry of Interior, directly aligned with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, specifically the Quality of Life Program. The establishment of these centers represents a historic step towards transitioning from multiple, fragmented operations rooms to a unified and integrated work environment. The center in the Makkah region was among the first to be launched, establishing a new phase of joint security operations. The center successfully consolidated the work of 47 previous operations rooms into one location, under a single emergency number (911), thus facilitating faster access to emergency services for beneficiaries.
