Career Days at Alfaisal University kicks off its 14th edition in Riyadh

In a move reflecting the commitment of educational institutions to supporting the national labor market, Alfaisal University in Riyadh announced the launch of the 14th edition of its prominent annual event, “Career Days,” under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Bandar bin Saud bin Khalid Al Saud, Secretary General of the King Faisal Foundation. This important event will run for three days, from January 27th to 29th, and is highly anticipated by graduates and job seekers looking for quality opportunities.

A journey full of achievement and empowerment

The “Career Days” exhibition at Alfaisal University is not just a fleeting event, but rather an extension of a long history of strategic partnership between academia and the job market. Over the past thirteen years, the university has successfully built strong bridges of trust with more than 980 employers, resulting in over 10,000 job and training opportunities for graduates. This edition reaffirms this approach, with participants representing 13 vital sectors, including healthcare, engineering, energy, and digital transformation—sectors that form the backbone of the modern economy.

Promising opportunities and skills development

The fourteenth edition of the program features over 400 direct job opportunities, in addition to 100 cooperative training opportunities, opening up broad horizons for Saudi youth. The university has gone beyond simply being a platform connecting job seekers with employers; it has also focused on activating the role of "career clinics." These clinics offer specialized guidance services, including resume reviews and mock interviews, with the aim of refining applicants' skills and enhancing their readiness to compete in a changing and evolving work environment.

Keeping pace with the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030

This event holds particular strategic importance given the Kingdom's current economic momentum, as it directly aligns with the goals of Vision 2030 , specifically the Human Capital Development Program. By focusing on promising sectors such as logistics, consulting, and technology, Alfaisal University contributes to bridging the gap between educational outcomes and the actual needs of the labor market. Investing in high-quality human capital is the cornerstone of achieving sustainable development, and this is what the university seeks to achieve by transforming this gathering into a platform for career development, not just immediate employment.

The university's corridors are expected to witness intense activity during the days of the exhibition, with the participation of about 30 major sponsors and partners, which enhances Alfaisal University's position as one of the main drivers for supplying the national economy with qualified national talents capable of leading the future.
