The event not only celebrated the graduates but also witnessed the laying of the foundation stone for state-of-the-art sports facilities for the university, with a total cost exceeding 300 million Saudi riyals, representing a qualitative leap in the academic and sports infrastructure of the capital.

The project includes a fully equipped stadium with a capacity of over 8,000 spectators, in addition to indoor sports halls designed according to the latest international standards, Olympic-sized swimming pools, and multiple floors dedicated to support services and parking. This significant investment reflects a deep understanding of the importance of integrating sports into university life, contributing to building a generation that is physically and mentally healthy and capable of facing the challenges of the future.

The joyous ceremony was held at the university's Riyadh campus, celebrating the graduation of postgraduate students, as well as students from the College of Law and International Relations and the College of Business Administration. The Governor of Riyadh was received by a distinguished group of dignitaries, including His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz, Chairman of the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies and Vice Chairman of the University's Board of Trustees, and Her Royal Highness Princess Dr. Maha bint Mishari bin Abdulaziz, Vice President of the University for Development and External Relations, along with the University President, Dr. Mohammed Al-Hayaza. The ceremony began with the Royal Anthem, followed by the graduates' procession and a recitation from the Holy Quran.
