The promenade occupies a strategic location in the Al-Qaswa neighborhood, southwest of Medina, and is only about 4 kilometers from Quba Mosque, the first mosque founded on piety. The promenade acquired its distinctive name, “Al-Qaswa,” at the request of Medina residents through an official referendum, in honor of the Prophet Muhammad’s camel (may God bless him and grant him peace) that accompanied him on his migration. This connection between the name and the place gives visitors a profound sense of connection to Islamic history, adding a spiritual and cultural dimension to the recreational experience.
Engineering design that promotes environmental sustainability
The Al Qaswa Promenade project spans a vast area of 110,000 square meters and was designed to be a green lung, contributing to air purification and lowering temperatures in the surrounding area. Green spaces cover 21,000 square meters, featuring trees and plants that are well-suited to the city's environment. For sports enthusiasts, the promenade offers a 1,000-meter walking track and an 870-meter dedicated cycling path, both designed to the highest technical standards to ensure the safety and comfort of users of all ages.

- An interactive fountain with a diameter of 25 meters adds visual beauty and softens the atmosphere.
- Ample parking for cars and buses, accommodating up to 340 vehicles for easy access.
