The figures revealed that medical and therapeutic services were provided to 989,859 patients and beneficiaries , a number that reflects the scale of the efforts made and the operational efficiency of this long-established medical institution.
Details of operational performance and clinics
Official statistics revealed varying levels of service distribution to meet all medical needs. Outpatient clinics topped the list, receiving 489,386 patients, reflecting the community's confidence in specialized medical staff. Regarding emergency and critical cases, emergency and accident departments efficiently treated 152,229 patients, providing them with the necessary urgent care.
Regarding specialized centers, the Heart Center recorded 10,039 visitors, while the Eye Center received 30,441 visitors, and the number of visitors to the Dental Center reached 56,387, highlighting the comprehensiveness of the services provided under one roof.
Surgical procedures and diagnostic services
The hospital's efforts extended beyond medical consultations to include complex surgical interventions, with 10,039 successful surgeries , in addition to 1,530 cardiac catheterizations and 2,434 endoscopic procedures. To support these therapeutic services, the ancillary departments conducted over 1.08 million laboratory tests and nearly 295,000 radiological examinations to ensure accurate diagnoses and rapid treatment.

These achievements align with the objectives of the Health Transformation Program and the Kingdom's Vision 2030, which focus on facilitating access to and improving the quality of healthcare services. This is clearly demonstrated by the activation of home healthcare services, which benefited 12,903 patients, and medical rehabilitation programs that served more than 37,000 clients, in addition to dispensing more than 1.6 million prescriptions, reflecting the Makkah Health Cluster's commitment to implementing the highest standards of comprehensive and sustainable care.
