Al-Ahsa National Park has undergone a remarkable transformation, becoming a leading tourist and volunteer destination in the Eastern Province, attracting thousands of visitors from within the Kingdom and the Gulf countries, especially with the pleasant winter weather. This increased popularity coincides with the launch of the tree-planting season organized by the National Afforestation Program under the slogan "A Hand Plants, a Land Flourishes," reflecting a unique integration between family recreation and achieving the goals of the Saudi Green Initiative .

Community engagement and volunteer initiatives
In the context of environmental activism, the park belonging to the National Center for Vegetation Development and Combating Desertification witnessed broad community participation. Hundreds of volunteers and environmental activists engaged in planting various seedlings, in a scene that embodies the growing awareness of the importance of sustainability.
