Al-Ahsa Health launches "Know Your Lifestyle" initiative to prevent diseases

In a move aimed at enhancing community health awareness, the Ministry of Health branch in Al-Ahsa Governorate launched a unique awareness initiative under the slogan "Know Your Lifestyle?" at its headquarters. This initiative aims to empower all members of society with the necessary knowledge and practical tools to improve their quality of life and reduce the risk of chronic diseases through a "behavior modification" strategy and changes in daily habits.
In line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030 and the Quality of Life Program
This initiative is part of the Ministry of Health's comprehensive strategy and aligns with the goals of Vision 2030, specifically the Quality of Life Program, which aims to empower citizens and residents to adopt healthy lifestyles. Within the framework of the Health Transformation Program, the Ministry is working to shift the prevailing concept of healthcare from a focus on "treatment" to one of "primary prevention," recognizing it as the first line of defense in strengthening community immunity and reducing the incidence of communicable and non-communicable diseases.
The initiative's pillars: nutrition, movement, and mental health
Through this educational initiative, Al-Ahsa Health Affairs aims to empower individuals to adopt smart health choices and sustainable daily habits that promote physical and mental well-being. The events witnessed broad community participation and significant engagement, with the discussions focusing on several key points:
