Al-Ahsa Guidance and Counseling Forum to enhance the intellectual awareness of female trainees

The Technical College for Girls in Al-Ahsa Governorate launched its Guidance and Counseling Forum, aimed at enhancing the intellectual and professional awareness of over 500 female trainees. This important event featured a comprehensive program of interactive workshops and specialized exhibitions that ran for three consecutive days, with active participation from prominent governmental and community organizations, most notably the King Abdulaziz Center for Cultural Communication, the Saudi Association for Public Decorum, and the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice.
The objectives of the Guidance and Counseling Forum in protecting intellectual and cyber security
The forum saw the participation of a select group of specialists in cybersecurity and information systems, who delivered intensive awareness content focusing on the concepts of "intellectual protection" and raising the level of digital literacy among the trainees. Participating organizations emphasized the importance of adhering to positive behaviors within the educational and social environment by delivering guidance messages through direct, interactive methods that go beyond traditional rote learning, thus contributing to fortifying young women's minds against various intellectual and digital risks.
Knowledge empowerment of Saudi women in light of Vision 2030
This event is being organized within the context of the comprehensive development drive underway in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to empower women and equip them with the knowledge and skills necessary to confidently and competently enter the workforce, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030. The Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) plays a pivotal and historic role in preparing national female talent and providing them with the skills needed to confidently and effectively enter the labor market. Enhancing intellectual and professional awareness is no longer merely an educational option, but a fundamental pillar for building a vibrant society and a thriving economy, as these programs contribute to bridging the gap between training outcomes and the requirements of sustainable development.

For her part, the college's Vice Dean for Trainee Affairs, Saadia Al-Zahrani, affirmed that this awareness-raising event is part of ongoing efforts to enhance the intellectual maturity of female trainees. She explained that the forum contributes significantly to strengthening core societal values, thus supporting their professional and effective readiness for professional life. Similarly, the Head of the Guidance and Counseling Unit, Khulood Al-Anzi, indicated that the accompanying activities and workshops were implemented in a manner that addresses the actual needs of the current stage, thereby enhancing the trainees' comprehension of the topics presented. She emphasized the necessity of continuing these initiatives to build a comprehensive and sustainable awareness. The forum concluded with a record of widespread benefit for the trainees, reflected in statistical indicators that demonstrate the high level of participation and success of the college's programs aimed at developing positive behaviors and building professional skills.
