Al-Nimr explained, “The reality was the opposite of what some people thought; the two artists who announced the name had difficulty reading the text and made mistakes more than once. The protocol required them to invite me to come up to the stage as usual, but they did not do that. I kept waiting for the signal, and when the wait became too long, I took the initiative to come up myself to save the situation.”.
